Originally from Italy and now living in France to build her career in the adult film industry, Lena Coxx surprises with her extraordinary background: highly educated in neuroscience, intellectual and deeply sensitive, she reflects on how science, desire, and a quest for freedom have shaped her relationship with sexuality. Over the course of several days in Amsterdam, the camera follows her preparations for the Awards nights: fitting outfits, visiting sex shops and latex boutiques, and searching for the looks that will define her public image. Lena reveals the behind-the-scenes reality of a world often fantasized about, yet rarely portrayed with such honesty and sincerity. Featuring carefully selected excerpts from her films, this documentary paints an intimate portrait of a complex, cultivated, and free-spirited woman who uses her body both as a means of expression and as an object of reflection. A sensitive and contemporary immersion into the singular journey of an adult film star determined not to be reduced to a simple image.
