Highlights from the series, in a journey from the Arctic to the Antarctic. Polar bears meet on the frozen Arctic Ocean, while pack ice in Greenland provides a nursery for baby harp seals. A pack of wolves hunts for bison, a pallas cat struggles to hunt in heavy snow, and golden eagles take on prey much larger than themselves. Weddell seals haul themselves onto the Antarctic ice, while a pod of killer whales develops a strategy for hunting them.
