Cette fois, l'agent secret britannique est censé être un riche Sud-africain travaillant pour un cartel de diamantaires. Michael doit en fait mettre au point une entrevue avec Uri Lermentov, un agent secret du KGB retiré à Kiev. Haggerty espère pouvoir obtenir d'Uri une liste d'agents britanniques oeuvrant clandestinement en Libye
